Are you going to study at one of Wittenborg’s campuses in the Netherlands and are you wondering how and where you can find a place to live? Here you can find more information on our student accommodation in Apeldoorn and how you can apply for your preferred room.
Wittenborg offers different types of furnished, student accommodation in a number of different places in Apeldoorn, all relatively close to our campuses (1-5 km):
- Off-campus accommodation:
These apartments are shared by 4-5 students. Most of the rooms are single; however, double rooms are also available.
- Campus accommodation:
In this accommodation type, students either have their own rooms or share a room with another roommate within a campus complex. The campus accommodation is offered by Wittenborg Housing (Ruyterstraat) or by our housing partner (FSG Campus).
- All rooms have basic furniture and high-speed internet. Common areas and facilities such as equipped kitchens and bathrooms are shared.
Students from the EU
Are you a Dutch or other EU-national student? Although you are encouraged to find your own accommodation, you can opt for Wittenborg’s own housing upon availability.
Students from non-EU countries
If you are a non-EU, ‘package-fee’-paying student who needs Wittenborg to arrange your study visa to be able to join us in Apeldoorn, then the first 4-5 months of your accommodation fee (plus administration fee for new-arrival students) is included in your package fee. The duration of the rental contract depends on the type of room. Shared rooms and small, single rooms (8-13 m2 approx.) are more affordable than larger single rooms (14 to 20 m2 approx.).
You will be allocated a room in either an apartment or campus complex, sharing a common area and all facilities with other students, both male and female.
After the package-fee period, which means after approximately the first 4-5 months, we encourage you to find your own accommodation. Many students decide to find accommodation together with their newly made friends! This also means that our rooms will then be available again to new students arriving at Wittenborg.
On the FAQ page of Wittenborg-Online, you will find contact information of local real estate companies and student housing providers/agencies in Apeldoorn, so you will have plenty of time to arrange your next accommodation.
If, after the first rental period, you decide to stay on in one of the rooms provided by Wittenborg, the deadline of your rental extension has to be followed as stated in your Student Housing Contract.
Currently, all students may stay a maximum of approximately one calendar year at any accommodation provided by Wittenborg in Apeldoorn to assure that rooms are made available for newly arriving students.
