Good decision making in companies and organisations is driven by the correct understanding and interpretation of data, and the presentation of information. This module will enable you to use the understanding of analytical and descriptive statistics, research methods and statistical tests to develop methods and solutions that will enable good decision making in business scenarios that are uncertain and possibly risky.
The module will cover descriptive statistics, including the collection, description, analysis and summary of data, as well as probability and correlation. Areas such as linear regression and the test of hypotheses are also covered.
